KOALA KARE Baby Bear Child Protection/Safety Seat Mod. KB102-01 (Folding, Wall-Mounted, Gray Colored) The child protection seat (Model KB102-01) is designed to be mounted to the wall of a dressing room, restroom stall, or anywhere you are not able to hold your child but still need to keep your little one safe, secure and off a floor that is less than ideal. Crafted from FDA approved, blow-molded, high-density polyethylene (GRAY in color) with MICROBAN antimicrobial additive, the textured surface is easy to clean and resistant to odors and both fungal & bacteria growth. Universal instruction graphics as well as printed precations in three languages are clearly visible for ease of use. Nylon safety straps hold the child securely in the textured seat surface by extending over the shoulders and between the legs. The unit is designed to fold up to less than 6" width. The hidden hinge mechanism that makes this possible is ruggedly built from a steel rod and an aluminum tube "sleeve". The included hardware is intended for installation of the protection seat to restroom or fitting room partitions. Four pre-drilled mounting holes in the back wall of the unit assist with ease of installation. For installation on to a permanent stud & sheetrock wall or cider block wall, other suitable hardware (not included) will need to be acquired by the customer. The KB102-01 requires less than 2 sq. ft. of wall space. Folded closed, the seat's dimensions are 12-1/2"W x 18-3/4"H x 5-5/8"D. And when open, the seat extends out from the finished wall face only 12-1/4". With a durable & wear resistant hinge mechanism constructed of a steel pivot rod secured in an aluminum tube, this unit (when properly installed) can easily withstand static loads of up to 50 lbs.
